Coaching
For Change
Simple. Hopeful. Future Focused.

What Is Coaching For Change?
We all have transactional conversations every day, but what if we were to have more transformational conversations? What if we could have valuable interactions that lead to real sustained change?
Whether you are reconsidering priorities, in a time of transition, find yourself without peers to process with or simply find it hard to clear space to think and move forward, coaching will serve you well. Each session is 45 minutes long and can be over Zoom, on the phone or even in person.
‘Coaching is a transformational conversation that is supportive and challenging – it is future focused and gives space for the thinker to progress in their thinking about a circumstance, topic or issue. The hope is that through the conversation you will feel heard, listened to and will know things at the end of the conversation that you didn’t know at the beginning.’

FAQs
How does a session work?
Each coaching session is unique and will go where you choose to take it, but it will have the key elements of:
Checking in on how you are arriving and what resources you have to explore new ideas.
Getting clear on what you want to explore in the session.
Identifying how we will know we have got there
Exploring the question from different angles with reflection and curiosity.
Together designing actions for next steps.
What do I need to come with?
You may come clear to the session on what you want to explore, but if not we will have a pre-conversation.
Bring anything that helps you think or note down your insights, otherwise just yourself.
How is coaching different from other conversations?
It’s a high support and high challenge conversation, with a clear container that keeps the conversation focused. It will feel different.
Is it similar to counselling or other therapy?
It can complement counselling or other therapies, but it is distinct.
Coaching considers the past but asks what that means going forward.
How many sessions do I need?
Your consultation call will help you to work out the appropriate number of sessions. It will depend on the scope of the conversation you want to have.
A one-off call is great for decision making, a trio of sessions helps work through a transition. Others are looking for a regular monthly session where they can do some quality thinking with someone outside of their work or personal context.
